Sara has been a keen observer of the natural environment starting from an early age growing up in the greater Cleveland Ohio area. It was there that she appreciated edible gardens, national parks, and outdoor environmental experiences. Her inspiration is rooted from her mother who tended to their ¼ acre backyard garden and watching her father practice architecture. Her appreciation and love for the natural and built environment is enhanced through the eye of her SLR camera.
Sara’s work includes parks and recreation, urban environments, educational campuses, cultural facilities, commercial developments, residential communities, and single family residences. Sara is a Registered Landscape Architect and full member of the American Society of Landscape Architecture (ASLA). She graduated with honors and received her degree in Landscape Architecture from The Ohio State University.
Sara brings a wide skill set to the team along with the ability to delight clients with her innovative and creative landscape designs. Her sense of design, knowledge of plant material, and understanding of sustainable landscape practices enable her to transform a project into a unique and inviting atmosphere. She continues to be inspired by her travels in the British Isles and Italy and brings a special sensitivity to site-specific gardenesque design and urban form to the office mix.
